| The purpose of the
Augustana Heritage Association is to define, promote and perpetuate the heritage and legacy of the Augustana Lutheran Church. |
|   |
| Values cannot long endure that are not incarnated in an institution. The Augustana Lutheran Church as an institution has passed into history but the heritage of Augustana lives on in the institutions and agencies that were founded and fostered in the church as expressions of its faith and mission. CONTINUING THE LEGACY OF AUGUSTANA is an opportunity for persons to give a gift in memory of or in honor of loved ones, congregations, institutions, agencies and other ministries of the Augustana Lutheran Church. All gifts will be endowment gifts unless the donor designates otherwise. None of the gifts will accrue to the
Augustana Heritage Association. |

| Continuing the Legacy of Augustana |
|   |
The ELCA Foundation is your partner in assisting the continuation of that which
we knew to be Augustana: a rich heritage, committed to ministry and mission.
You can remember an individual Augustana ministry or remember them all
through a cash or planned gift through the ELCA Foundation for the Augustana
Legacy Endowment. The goal is to build strong endowments that honor and
continue the legacy of Augustana. |
|   |
| For information on specific gift possibilities contact your ELCA Foundation
gift planner (www.elca.org) or call or write
Cynthia J. Halvorsen, executive
director ELCA Foundation, 8765 West Higgins Road, Chicago, IL 60631,
800/638 - 3522, ext. 2970. Your gift will leave a lasting legacy to the Augustana
ministry of your choice or to a permanent endowment honoring all the Augustana
ministries as we together continue the legacy of Augustana. |
